WaY tO "b"!

And now, we interupt the regular writing of this blog

to introduce the latest in

"B" words.

So far, this February has brought...

blissful bequests from benefactors (on Valentine's Day),

braces, (yep, they're there for a year--love that posed grin),

blessed biding with Marie and Der,

a break from work (while attending the Western Veterinary Conference),

a beautiful trip to the temple,

baby belly laughs (this is a favorite),

and bravado. (N8 performed this number at the solo ensemble. 'Can't find the original recording--drat, but this will give you an idea.)

'Hope this finds you all bopping through each day blissfully!

Be grateful.

Be smart.

Be clean.

Be true.

Be humble.

Be prayerful.

Yep--it even snowed this evening.

But, that's okay.

Craig, Chels, and N8 had last Friday off,

and...

we all went skiing!

It was a bit blizzardy up top

and quite cold,

but once you got halfway down,

it was almost clear.

There was plenty of snow there...

and

in Tahoe!

Brrrrrr!

Good thing, we had Captain America

to shovel it all!

A nEw BiShoP!

Buckeye, AZ 2nd. Ward has a new bishop.

Can you guess who it might be?

He's cheerful.

He looks good in a suit!

He's an Eagle Scout.

He graduated from CCHS.

He has three wonderful children.

And a beautiful wife.

'Yep, it's Jared!

Congratulations, Bishop Schank!

We'll be praying for you!

wHeN tHe FaMiLy GeTs ToGeThEr...

It's always fun when a relative gets married,

because our family gets together.

Kort and Jessica had their wedding reception last Saturday,

and so....

we gathered in Tahoe (which is actually warmer than Fallon right now)

and picked isicles,

played with Carter,

and went skiing!

(This was his first time skiing. He loved it!)

'Yep, Grandpa.

(He was pretty dedicated. He'd ski her down

and then pull her back up.)

The weather at the top of the mountain

was blizzardy.

But, on the lower part of the mountain,

it was quite nice.

What a great time!

To me,

there's nothing better
than a
gReEn ChRiStMaS!
(And a GrEeN ChRisTmAs means a visit to
F.D. Mom's!)

It's a GrEaT place to hang out with family
(This is Stats in Pasadena. They have an amazing array of ornaments.)

It's so FuN to roam around the Mall
(and try on all manner of fashion!)

It's GrEaT to visit the Temple,
see the lights,
and do a few baptisms!

On Christmas Eve,
we lOvE to join in the family feasting
as we all await a visit from Santa Claus!
Oh-oh, 'looks like he knows that we only made the semi-nice list.
(That's Laura with him--she's a sweetie. Maybe she can put in a good word
or two for us!)

Then, on ChRiStMaS dAY,
it's eXcItInG to sit back
and just watch the JoY!

And when dArLiNg GrAnDcHiLdReN show up,
it just gets even bEtTeR!
