Cj--ThE cUtEsT lItTlE 2009 eDiTiOn!

This was a GREAT weekend!
We were lucky enough to have a visit
from the cutest, newest, little edition
to the Schank Household--
Carter Joseph!

Here's a picture of his dad, and...
here's a photo of his mom.

Can you guess who he belongs to?

Need some help?

Well, here they are in a more

recent photograph.

Everyone loves Carter!

You have to stand in line
to hold him.

'Wonder who he looks like?

Well, here's a picture of his

father at 2 months,

and here's a photo of Carter at
close to 1 month.

Lucky parents!

Lucky baby!

We're so very thankful for him!

Oh WhAt Do YoU dO iN tHe SuMmEr TiMe?

when all the world is green?

(Except maybe here, in Fallon,--it's

kind of brown right now.)

Do you jet ski at Lahontan Lake?

Or do a marshmallow bake?

And celebrate a cute brother's

birthday with a cake?

Or go to Youth Conference for a break?

Or do a temple trip with the stake?

Or ride the red viper snake?

Is that what you do?

So do we!
(It's been a fun July.)

17 YeArS aNd CoUnTiNg--HuRrAy!

17 years ago, I married the

man of my dreams....

on the 10th. of July

in the Los Angeles Temple.

We spent our honeymoon night

at San Ysidro....

in the same bungalow that
John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline
honeymooned in.

Then we took off to the island

of Hawaii.

Look at those 6- pack abs!

Days later, we flew....

"down under"

where we snow-skied in Queensland

and

snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef.

It's been a great 17 years!

(I'm glad that we have eternity!)

HaPpY 4tH. oF jUlY!

For the 4th. of July,
we went up to Zephyr Cove.

A lot of other people did too!
We found a more secluded spot

paddled our way out to sea,

swam in the water,

played in the sun,

and

relaxed in the sand.

What a great country we live in!

I just LOVE this place!

P.S. This is kind of fun--just before midnight on June 19th., we kept hearing something hitting the house. Can you guess what it was????????

Marble-sized hail!
It covered our sidewalks, deck, and lawn.
There was even some left on the lawn
the next morning.
There is never a dull moment around here.
I just love summers!
