'Nope, Dad would never condone skipping school!

Well, actually, we skied on Saturday.

(We cut school on Friday--Dad had a dr. appt. He's going to have shoulder surgery.)

Last Friday was Friday, the 13th.

At CCJHS, it was also "Nerd Day".

Nope, Craig and I were thinking--

we're pretty lucky that they don't

look and act like this everyday!

Rubber Chicken, Anyone????

Okay, so not a lot has happened this week.

N8 did earn 4 of his merit badges.

Craig did have his shoulder looked at again.

Chels continues to watch American Idol.

And I cleaned out and defrosted the chest freezer.

Guess what I found????

Lots (and lots) of whole chicken--some dating back to '97.

(Hey, they are as old as N8!--maybe older???)

Well, true-to-form, Dad cooked (a newer) one.

Mom cringed.

Chels, N8, and Gma actually liked it.

This week's post is dedicated to J, B, & D who ate

the infamous crock-pot, "rubber" chicken

for so many a meal!

(Pretty sad--Craig's still a better cook than me!)
