So, here's what happened last week:
Nathan had a band concert at the CCHS Gym.
(The elementary, junior high, and high school bands, strings, and jazz bands performed.)
He also played a piano solo there.
On Friday, we took off to Vegas.

where Chels found the man of her dreams.)
(where we all did baptisms.) It was beautiful!
We stayed with Darren, Marie, and Carter

(the highlight of our trip!)
And, we watched while N8 was part of the state spelling bee.
We had such a GREAT time,
but...I think we wore our hosts out!

looks like fun! How did N8 do?
There were 32 participants. He went out number 21. There were some really great spellers. 'Feel a little guilty, though. 'Should have worked a little more with N8. If you memorize the pamphlet, it's a doable thing.
'Wait a minute-did that make sense??? He was the 21st. person out, so I guess that you would say that he placed 12th. They had trophies for the first 6. He really would have liked one of those!
